As we turn now to the topic ahead, it is helpful to learn of another finding from Neuman — that of Dr. Louann Brizendine, a University of California psychiatrist studying the differences between the male and female brain. Neuman reports that Brizendine’s study “revealed that a man thinks about sex every fifty-two seconds while that subject tends to cross a woman’s mind once a day.” Yet more differences! We’ll look at these differences — sexual differences — in Chapter 6.
